Service Description

OVERVIEW: This class will teach students how to make jewelry by the wire wrapping method. Come and live the experience of wire wrapping! Get your fingers ready for the twists and turns of making a piece of wire wrapped jewelry. This class is 100% participation -- bring an open mind, and a willingness to learn! Discussion will include selection of wire to be used, and the gauge of different wires. This project will be finished in just one class session. We look forward to seeing you in class. AGE MINIMUM: 16 years; minors must each be accompanied by an adult. PRICE INCLUDES: Enough wire to complete your first project. A cabochon, ( stone,) to wrap and the tools required to fulfill the project. PREREQUISITES: No experience is necessary. STUDENTS SHOULD BRING: Please bring a smock or cover-up to protect your clothing from acrylic paint.

PAYMENT POLICY: - Payment is due in full at the time of booking to guarantee your spot in any class. - Be sure to check the class description for any requirements, such as minimum age, prerequisites, and/or supplies that you need to bring with you to class. - Sign-ups close one calendar day prior to class to allow for instructor preparations, possible cancellation, etc. CANCELLATION/RE-SCHEDULE POLICY: - If a student cancels, Birch must be notified at least 24 hours prior to the class in order to give a full refund. If less than 24 hours, 50% will be refunded. If a student has an emergency cancellation and Birch is informed ASAP prior to class, student will receive a full credit towards a future class if some proof can be provided. - If the class is cancelled due to not enough sign-ups or an instructor emergency, students will be advised by phone or text ASAP, and all will receive a full refund. - No-call, no-shows for classes will not receive a refund OR credit. MISSING A SESSION OF A MULTI-SESSION CLASS: - If a class takes place over 2 or more sessions, it can be difficult to keep up with your project if you miss a session. Reach out to your instructor to see if there is an opportunity to join another class for the missed part, or if you can get assistance at an “Open Studio” time.
